Flow EVM Pectra Upgrade May 15, 2025 01:00-01:15 UTC
The Ethereum Pectra upgrade is now live on the Flow EVM testnet. Developers and builders can dive into exploring the new upgrade on Flow EVM.
Following this successful upgrade, there will be a Flow EVM mainnet Height-Coordinated Upgrade (HCU) on Thursday, 15 May 2025, 1:00am UTC. Flow EVM transactions will pause for approximately 5 to 10 minutes during the HCU, but there will be no network downtime.
The EVM Pectra functionality will be automatically enabled on Flow mainnet 2 hours after the HCU, at 3:00am UTC.
